We let our guard down way too much today. First there was the heat. It was more than ten degrees cooler today than it was yesterday, but it was still 93 degrees, which is still hotter than is reasonable. Oh my goodness, it's hot today. It was actually only 98 degrees, which is pretty darn hot, but not intolerable. The trouble is, it's only just barely tolerable, and it's supposed to be even hotter for the next few days. I'm not sure if we can take it. I wonder if the reason I always remember the Heat Miser song rather than the Cold Miser song is that I wish it was warmer. And dude, it's like a whole 60 degrees inside. We are such pansies. Oh well.

Tonight I'm thankful for good Relief Society lessons, nice fast and testimony meetings, rainbow chip cake icing, gratitude, and mozzarella cheese.
